Summary: Somewhat of a unicorn...the internet says there are only a handful of Holidomes left that are still in operation and this one checks all the boxes on the nostalgia factor. Large central dome, with a large pool and hot tub and several levels or areas for large groups, family reunions, etc. There is a restaurant inside the holidome that is surprisingly good and also serves as mini-convenience store (pop, candy, chips, etc). As for rooms, there are options facing into the Holidome as well as on the outer ring of the hotel, if you want something quieter. The rooms are spacious, with a smaller bathroom, but everything was clean and well maintained. Large mini-fridge and microwave in the room. TV had a good variety of channels, including HBO. Room HVAC was built into the wall, instead of the noisier version mounted below the window that you usually see. Lots of hot water in the shower. Lots of parking in the attached lot and there are doors to access the building close to your room. Checkin was smooth. No free breakfast that I could see, but you can eat at the restaurant in the Holidome. If I was in the area and could get a room here, this would be the first place I'd look. It's unique in a way that most hotels now are not and that makes it kinda fun.
