This private setting gives you access to the Minong Flowage, a serene, intermediate channel between the Minong and Cranberry Lakes. In the morning, you will enjoy having your coffee and taking in the freshwater and woodland scenery while sitting on the 10x12 deck located on the water. The property is private and gives you the peace you are looking for. Inside the cabin are 3 spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining area, and a game and recreational area. There is one futon along with a blow up bed if needed, allowing up to 10 people to stay. One of the highlights of this cabin is the screened-in porch, where you have the opportunity to eat outside and enjoy the complete surroundings. You will find yourself sitting in the porch, enjoying your time with your company or just spending your own quiet time. This is a non-smoking cabin and we do not allow pets.
If you are looking to snowmobile or use your ATV's, we are located just off the trails. (No need to trailer your machine anywhere.) You will have access to the full trail system where you can enjoy hundreds of miles of trails.
The Minong Flowage is considered one of the most pristine water ways in northern WI for fishing, swimming or skiing. You can watch loons, bald eagles and deer as you enjoy this part of the state. There are private individuals in the area who rent pontoons on the lake for those without a boat and the desire to experience the entire lakes. You will have access to our 2 kayaks and canoe to allow you to get on the water.
Our property manager lives next door so if you have questions or something needs to be addressed, it can be resolved quickly. Around the area there are several restaurants/bars on the lake for you to enjoy. There is also a convenient store (with laundry) located within 1.5 miles from our home. The city of Minong has a grocery store, marine dealer and restaurants.
