Level two is splendid living with 10-foot ceilings and a complete entertainment package. The great room is complemented by a fully-equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a formal dining area, a half-bath, and a screened porch with a hot tub. Look across the Pamlico Sound to the Canadian Hole from the third-story deck. Retire to level three to one of the two glassed-in main bedrooms, each with a bath, privacy, and tremendous views! Brooks Island Refuge is special in Hatteras because you are on the sound, but you have little close to you other than nature. There are many birds in the wetlands and there is a forested island nearby. It is a quiet rental surrounded by water and nature.
